"Murdoch" Black, Copper & White Male, DOB 1 March 1996 Full Dention, Eyes Clear 1999, 22 1/2" Hips - 1 : 4 Grade 1 Elbows - Grade 0 Murdoch is one of six pups from the first breeding between 2 Australian & American Champions, Jerry-Lee and Anu in Australia. Originally he was run on as a promising puppy but as time went on he proved to have a personality requiring far more time and attention than can be given in a kennel environment, and so he was rehomed at 10 months to be a family companion. The show ring, at that stage, was not even considered! However, seen again after several more months to mature, plans for Murdoch took a change of direction. Living with only one other dog, Tor the Kelpie(below), Murdoch has became more confident within himself and has been in the show ring since the age of 2. A strong handsome dog with exceptional movement but lacking ‘flash’, Murdoch has learned to show, achieving his CH with multiple Best of Breeds and several memorable wins. Along the way he has also done well at Open shows, collecting more than 10 In Group and In Show awards. He is loved trained and handled by Leonora Bor who has done a tremendous job with this loving dog.    Murdoch had a wonderful time at the 1998 Melbourne Royal winning Intermediate dog and giving an excellent show in the challenge line. Since then he has gone from strength to strength, and will be a force to be reckoned with next year. Murdoch is eager to please and enjoys his clicker training so much that we have started working towards titles at the end of his name and will be ready for competition in the future.
