Inaugural Victorian Specialty Show 1999 Judge Breed Specialist: Mrs Pamela Levin (USA) Unfortunately due to puppies, lack of coat and accidents only four Silvanwood bred aussies and one import were entered and four were shown. Despite this we had a GREAT show and would like to thank Mrs Levin for her kind comments about Topaz - and yes if we ever manage to clone her we will send one over to you!! <VBG>
YES!! Silvanwood took out the clean sweep in the Australian bred classes - a HUGE honour under a Breed Specialist such as Mrs Levin. Congratulations to the following Silvanwood dogs that achieved titles during 1999:

Silvanwood would like to welcome the owners of its latest litter of pups. We are proud to say that all five of the pups sold so far are now going to wonderful homes. We hope that Fiona & Graham, Andrew & family, Jenny, Nicole & James and Amanda & Ben enjoy being owned by an aussie. We just like to warn you that one may NOT be enough! Aussies are addictive!!!!! Amanda and Ben have had immediate success with their boy Silvanwood Highwayman taking Baby Puppy in Group at his first outing!! Spring Fair - Sydney Nov 1998 The aussies had a huge entry of 33 at the Spring Fair this year and Silvanwood Kennels had a very successful visit. We took four dogs; Topaz, Storm, Murdoch and Shame. Both judges were from the US and both awarded Topaz Best of Breed! Her little sister Shame was Puppy of Breed both days and RWB on Sat. Storm won his Intermediate Dog class both days and Murdoch received a third and a first in Aust Bred dog. An amazing result for a small kennel. Lyn, Leonora and Kate camped with the dogs and had heaps of fun. Young Shame (Silvanwood Shame On You) is doing us proud. Following up her wonderful reserve challenge (RWB against Chs) at the Spring Classic she was awarded Junior in Group at Champ show level. Proving once again that black is beautiful! Having a WHALE of a TIME!!!!!!!
Silvanwood BBQ Day- the BBQ was held on 25th Oct, and was a raging success. The sun shone and the waves at the beach proved irrestistable for many of the dogs. Thank you to the 25 people and 18 dogs who attended and made it such a fun day!!!! We loved catching up with the little babies that had left home and have since grown into gorgeous dogs. Check out the litter pages for updated photos of some babies. Anu got to catch up with some of her babies and managed to beg, borrow or steal enough food off the visitors to keep her going for a little longer!
