 The After litter is named a result of the events of fate.
Their mother Am, Australian and ASCA Ch Ebbtide Main Squeeze was eight and a half and had whelped her "Final" litter in April 1999. She was retired from having pups and was aiming for re-entry into the show ring. She was in season and locked inside the house.
Their father Australian Champion Silvanwood Sthern Storm was recovering from a terrible accident in which he severely damaged his leg ending with the amputation of one toe. He was inside the house to prevent infection in the open wound.
 Enter Lisa, doggy friend and house cleaner. When she came in the dogs were seperate, when she left the dogs were separate and when Pauline got home the dogs were together!!!
Squeeze was officially finished her season and it was not expected that a mating had occured. These two though had other plans. It became obvious in late November that Storm was a Sweet Talking Dude and about to become a father.
These pups have the usual privlege (and totally by fate!!!!) of being the first australian shepherd puppies born anywhere in the world on the turn of the century. As the countdown for the new year was being called Squeeze huffed and puffed and as the fireworks lit up the sky her first baby "Midnight" came into the world.
So they became the After litter, as in they came after the "final" litter.
